Join the 200 Club

Help raise regular funds for Project Aurora and be in with a chance to win a prize each month. Why not support our fundraising by becoming a member of the 200 Club? Monthly contributions will go toward raising funds for Project Aurora, and you will also be entered in a draw to win one of three prizes. Not less than 55% of the monthly payments will go toward Project Aurora, the rest will be paid out in prize money.

Which means:
For each £5 membership at least £2.75 will be added to the fund.
Over a year this will bring in a minimum of £33 per person.
If there are 50 member this would be £1,650 pa.
And 100 members would raise £3,300 p.a.
With full 200 members this would increase to a fantastic £6,600 p.a.

Pick up an application form today or speak to Revd Linda Galvin for more details.

Sponsored Walk for Project Aurora
Blackbridge Wharf, Winchester to the White Swan, Mansbridge
20 July 2019

Walkers may choose to walk a longer, or lesser, distance.

Starting point options:

(a) 6.30am (tbc) White Swan, Mansbridge
Noel will be walking to Winchester, to be there by 10am. He would love some company. Distance to Winchester 10 miles.

(b) 10.00am The Black Boy, Wharf Hill, Winchester
Meet at the green opposite the Black Boy and walk to Mansbridge. Distance to the White Swan 10 miles. Lifts have been offered to take you to the start point. Other options are to make your own way there by train, car or bus.

(c) 12.30pm – 1.00pm Bishopstoke
Distance to The White Swan 3 miles.
This is aimed at less energetic or younger walkers. The intention is that some walkers will arrive from Winchester around this time and may stop here for a picnic.

Finishing point: the White Swan, Mansbridge

Do come and join us for a walk along the picturesque (particularly the initial stretches!) Itchen Way, where there is abundant wildlife to spot, both ashore and in the water whilst raising money for project Aurora.

Forms are still available in the church. Alternatively, you can set up your own online fundraising page via our main page:

The sponsoring will be for taking part, not distance walked. Detailed instructions on meeting and where to walk will be available before the day. All walkers will be responsible for their own welfare and will be walking at their own pace – it is not intended to be a group walk.

Please contact Noel for any further information.
