Singsational Voices concert

Saturday 19 October 2019 2.30pm
St James’ Church

Singsational Voices is a contemporary mixed community choir based in Titchfield, Curdridge and Chandlers Ford, whose main aim is to provide a fun and safe environment for anyone
to sing.  They raise self esteem and develop general singing ability and to support and promote positivity and is fully inclusive. Some of their previous charity performances have been for Breast Cancer Haven and Archie’s Story (Cerebal Palsy) and they also took place in the Romsey Marathon Relay and they are looking forward to entertaining everyone at our Project Aurora fundraising concert on Saturday 19 October from 2.30pm with a break for afternoon tea in the middle.

Win a quilt!

Have you spotted the quilt above the font?  If you would like a chance to win this, made by Enid Plowman, its just £1 per try! All you need to do is enter your name and contact number in the diary at the back of church – ONE name per date! The person who is drawn with the winning date or the closest to it is the winner! Have a go, all proceeds to Project Aurora.

The 200 Club

The first draw took place on Friday 19 July and the winners were as follows: 1st Prize Mike O’Brien; 2nd Prize Rita Payne; 3rd Prize Mike O’Brien. Congratulations to the winners next time it could be you!

Help raise regular funds for Project Aurora and be in with a chance to win a prize each month. Why not support our fundraising by becoming a member of the 200 Club? Monthly contributions will go toward raising funds for Project Aurora, and you will also be entered in a draw to win one of three prizes. Not less than 55% of the monthly payments will go toward Project Aurora, the rest will be paid out in prize money.

Which means:
For each £5 membership at least £2.75 will be added to the fund.
Over a year this will bring in a minimum of £33 per person.
If there are 50 member this would be £1,650 pa.
And 100 members would raise £3,300 p.a.
With full 200 members this would increase to a fantastic £6,600 p.a.

Pick up an application form today or speak to Revd Linda Galvin for more details.
